New Kitchen Completed!... We just finished up this kitchen remodel for some long time local friends of ours. The kitchen had some cool features which included lighted glass cabinetry, accent tile behind the range hood and two toned colored cabinets, with the uppers going to the ceiling with the soffit removed. The scope included demo'ing down to the studs, relocating all mechanicals, re-framing for new window and exterior door. New drywall, paint, and hardwood flooring. The homeowners even completed some of the scope tasks themselves throughout the project.... Time to entertain in the new kitchen space!... Enjoy!

So happy to be apart of Green Meadow's wooden toolbox build again. This is the 4th year in a row working with Curtis Lumber Company, Questar III BOCES, and TL Custom Renovations LLC using hammers, nails, and screwdrivers; helping students assemble their very own toolbox kit. Many schools now are beginning to participate with Northeast Construction Trades Workforce Coalition, Inc. which partners with local volunteers to help guide students in this hands-on activity. During the event, the local contractors explain the different trades among construction and how many different jobs are available.

Another deck project wrapped up just in time for this heat wave! We tore this existing deck structure down, installed some new
tech-no post piers and re-framed the deck while adding alittle more square footage near the stairs. On the underside we added a Zip-Up ceiling system, to help direct water and make for some useable area under the deck during rain. We made the staircase 40" wide and added a gate at the top for their pets. The handrails were white vinyl, black round balusters and a decking drink cap at 42".

Another bathroom project wrapped up.. Or should I say two bathrooms wrapped up!.. We remodeled two bathrooms in this clients home.. First was a hallway bath with a new tub, onyx surround, tile floor, vanity top and fixtures. Next, was the master bathroom, where we gutted the existing shower room and moved plumbing to make the tile shower bigger. New double vanities w/tower storage, tile floor, heated towel rack, tile shower and barn slider glass doors... Stay Tuned! A lot in the works!

Job completion alert!.. When we started working with these homeowners they had a vision in mind to keep the same vintage feel for this bathroom remodel. We tore out the existing shower to make it a closet for storage, re-rough for a new soaker tub, tile around the whole bathroom and chrome fixtures.

Here is a recent deck project for a repeat customer of ours. We re-did both the lower entertaining deck and the upper sitting deck landing in TimberTech decking and Atlantis Rail systems. A nice clean look for a contemporary set-up. Stay Tuned, we have more deck projects to be posted this spring!

With construction, you need a vision or a plan for projects. We like to make sure we have the same vision as what the home owner is wanting the end result to look like. They may not be the exact products, selections or colors that end up being chosen.. But, at least it gives a good representation of the final outcome!
