Are you an experienced masonry professional ready to share your skills with the next generation of tradespeople? Join the team at Carver Career Center as a High School Masonry Instructor!

📅 Position: High School Masonry Instructor
📍 Location: Carver Career and Technical Education Center
📚 Contract: 215-Day Employee

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following:

✔️ Four years (8,000 clock hours) of satisfactory and reasonably continuous masonry work experience; OR
✔️ Bachelor’s Degree in a related area plus two years (4,000 clock hours) of satisfactory and reasonably continuous work experience; OR
✔️ Associate Degree in a related area plus two years (4,000 clock hours) of satisfactory and reasonably continuous work experience.
Completion of a full program of study from an approved education program in the specialization may count toward one-half year of the work experience requirement.

I can’t wait to head up to Appalachian Outlaw Trails to see our tables! The students worked really hard to get these 8’ & 10’ tables ready for Chris and his crew! Big thanks to Chris for supporting the students!

Huge shoutout to these two. Mr.Arbaugh (embedded English teacher) and Austin (2nd year certificate earner) have came in clutch helping in the shop this week with the seniors already gone!

Lilly, Je’niya and Lydiah did an amazing job on the “girls only” table build. I am so proud of them. Just 8 months ago they had never held a tool and now they can build on their own with no direction!
