*Open Faucets: Keep the hot water tap open to allow water to flow as it melts, which relieves pressure.

*Check for Damage: Monitor the unit for cracks or leaks once it starts to thaw.

Specific Considerations
*Tankless Units outside may freeze faster.

*Environment: If the heater is in a cold room, use a space heater to raise the ambient temperature.

*Insulation: Once thawed, consider wrapping exposed pipes and the heater with insulation to prevent future freezing.
