This L-shaped outdoor kitchen in Matthews, NC features the new Gen 3 Coyote S Series grill when it first came out. With a dedicated sear zone burner, cast stainless burners and an infrared backburner for the included rotisserie kit, this grill checks every box.
A bar height dining ledge along one side gives everyone plenty of seating room around this awesome grill island.

This outdoor kitchen in the Weddington area was a bit of a challenge.
Goals:
Add the Alfresco 36" gas grill and Alfresco pizza oven into the outdoor kitchen island.
Maintain a field of view from the house to the lower pool/ patio area.
Keep the existing railing on upper flagstone porch while providing a brick veneer on the entire island.

After a few designs, the pizza oven moved a little closer to the grill than I would have liked to see but there's still plenty of counter/ prep space on the left and right side. By keeping the pizza oven in the corner, it didn't block the view from inside the house.

The thin brick was cut from the same brick that was installed on the house and after a good cleaning, we were able to prime and paint the entire outdoor kitchen island.

I forgot to mention that the main access to this second floor porch was a spiral staircase so the island cabinets, grill, pizza oven and granite was brought in through the house!

We’re underway on another outdoor kitchen renovation in Charlotte. This project includes removing the existing grill and granite countertop, modifying the opening, and installing a new Coyote 50" grill/griddle combo along with a Coyote 45" double-door, two-drawer storage unit.
The new grill will be centered on the island for improved functionality and aesthetics and we’ve added essential side ventilation to ensure proper airflow and allow any gas to safely dissipate in the event of a leak.

Here's the start of one of our next outdoor kitchens in Matthews, NC. This design features a 12' grill island with Coyote 36" gas grill, Coyote 30" flat top griddle, Marvel glass door refrigerator and plenty of storage area.
The separate prep island has an extended dining ledge around 3 sides which allows for plenty of seating for those large gatherings.
As we do with every outdoor kitchen project, we start with the 3D design and CAD drawings to show exactly how the new island is going to look.

While our primary focus is designing and building new outdoor kitchens, we also help clients update and refine existing grill islands. For this project in Waxhaw, NC,, the client needed a replacement grill that closely matched the original size, along with the removal of the side burner. We finished the update by seamlessly extending the same stone countertop to maintain a cohesive look.
