Every year at the end of internship season, we ask our interns to stand up and share what the summer was actually like.
 
Some common themes we noticed over the years:
• They gained a whole new respect for those that do the work
• The heat is brutal but being surrounded by funny people helps
• They learned more in a couple weeks than months in a classroom
• There are always a few people who go above and beyond to teach them and take them under their wing
• They felt welcomed and accepted; lots of camaraderie
• Safety is a big deal

We are sure their experience isn’t unique to Wayne Brothers but maybe sharing their experiences will help others who are on the fence about construction.

Major kudos to the team on this project (that shall be unnamed) who focused on collaboration + planning and crushed productivity.

They were up against all the odds: only 9 days to plan, accelerated schedule, daily design changes, weather delays but this team made it happen and finished foundations A WEEK EARLY.
