If your lawn is scheduled every two weeks and it’s heavily overgrown when we arrive, an overgrowth fee applies.

Why?

Because we’re not doing the same amount of work.

More grass means:

• Slower mowing
• Extra passes
• More trimming
• More cleanup
• More wear on equipment
• More time on the property

You chose bi-weekly service to save money.

That doesn’t mean the lawn care company should eat the extra labor when the grass gets out of control.

Don’t want to risk an overgrowth fee?

Switch to weekly service.

Bi-weekly pricing is for bi-weekly service — not double the work for the same money.

A loyal customer deserves great service.

They do not automatically deserve the same price forever.

If you were charging $50 in 2022, that price was based on what it cost you to operate your business in 2022.

Since then:

Labor costs changed.
Fuel changed.
Insurance changed.
Equipment costs changed.
Repairs changed.
Software and overhead changed.

But too many lawn care companies leave the customer's price exactly where it was because:

“They’ve been with me for years.”

That loyalty matters.

But loyalty doesn’t mean you should slowly turn a profitable account into an unprofitable one.

You can appreciate a long-term customer and still review their pricing.

Good customers deserve:

They don’t get permanent immunity from price increases.
