Happy Nurses Week to the ones who can start an IV, calm a family member, save a life, and still somehow remember where everyone hid the good pens 💙🩺😂

Before I joined our family homebuilding business, I spent 31 years working as a nurse — and while my continuing education looks alot different now, nursing will always be a huge part of who I am.

Both careers are about taking care of people… one just comes with a little more concrete and a lot fewer call lights 😅🏡

To every nurse pulling long shifts, missing holidays, surviving on caffeine, and still showing up with compassion every day — you are appreciated more than you know.

Current job status:
Building houses… but mentally at a Cinco de Mayo fiesta 🌮🍹

If your house can’t handle:
– Taco Tuesday (or any day… we don’t judge)
– A margarita station 🍹
– And at least one person yelling “TURN THE MUSIC UP”

…it might be time to upgrade to something a little more fiesta-friendly 😏
