As many have already figured out, the summit of Morrow Mountain is now reopened. Thanks to a private donation to the Friends of Morrow Mountain, you will now be able to enjoy a new accessible overlook deck and picnic area. Thank You to the Friends of Morrow Mountain, structural engineers, several specialized contractors and state parks staff for their hard work in making this project a success. Restrooms will remain closed at the summit for another week or two as the water system is being repaired. A press release will follow in the next few days with more details about this special project.
