Concrete Supply Co. is proud to recognize Larry Palmer, North Carolina Director of Operations, for 30 years of dedicated service in the ready-mixed concrete industry.

Larry’s career is a true example of hard work, growth, and leadership. He began as a CDL driver hauling building materials and delivering ready-mixed concrete, later expanding into loader operations, plant maintenance, dispatch, quality assurance, sales, and operations.

Over the years, Larry has continued to take on new responsibilities and lead with the kind of knowledge, adaptability, and commitment that make a lasting impact on the people and teams around him.

One of the greatest highlights of his career has been the opportunity to work under the leadership of Brian Webb, Vice President of Operations, whose support and guidance have meant a great deal throughout his journey. He is grateful to be a part of the CSC family, working alongside a team that strives for success every day.

Concrete Supply is proud to recognize Jerry Dean Dry for an incredible 40 years of service, dedication, and commitment to excellence.

Jerry has built a remarkable career defined by hard work, loyalty, and reliability. During his tenure, he has achieved 38 years of safe driving and an impressive 40 years injury-free. He has been NC DOT certified for over 30 years and has played a major role in mentoring and training new drivers throughout his career. Jerry has not only served as a driver, but also as a dependable backup batcher whenever needed. He has worked at multiple locations, driven countless trucks, and today he continues his outstanding service as Leadman at the Salisbury, NC location.

One of his most memorable accomplishments came while working on the I-85 paving project, where he batched 3,020 cubic yards of concrete in a single day!

Having worked under three Concrete Supply presidents, Jerry says the company has always been “a great place to work,” adding that he has “always been treated fairly and never missed a paycheck in 40 years.”

Known for being dependable, punctual, and always willing to help, Jerry has become a respected leader and valued asset to the company. His positive attitude and favorite saying — “Sounds like we have a plan” — continue to reflect the spirit and teamwork he brings every day.

Anthony works at our Summerville, SC plant and has made a noticeable impact by helping transform the appearance of the yard. While he is primarily a ready-mix driver, he consistently steps in to support the Plant Manager and help with whatever needs to be done.

That kind of teamwork, ownership, and willingness to go the extra mile makes a real difference every day.

Congratulations to Toye Byrd and Eduardo “Julio” Martinez on 25 years of service.

Both are part of our Raleigh market, where they have built long-standing careers through steady commitment, experience, and hard work.

Toye works in Production Maintenance and was with Argos beginning in 2001 before joining Concrete Supply Co. in February 2025. Eduardo Martinez has been with CSC since 2001 and serves as Lead Mechanic.

We were thrilled to be part of a recent Career Day and Touch-a-Truck event at Knights View Elementary School in Charlotte, NC. A big thank you to Plant Manager Adam Georgia, Batcher Manny Aguilar, and Charlotte Sales Account Manager Chris Suggs for spending time with the students and helping make the day a fun one.
