What a story about this work...

My work on Crestdale continues. I am becoming "friendly" with the former residents, almost feeling as if I know them. I have found several surprises along the way. Looking to share them with all!

Below is a painting of Harvey Boyd as a young man. It was painted by his teacher, the famous artist Lois Mailou Jones, when he was a student at Howard University.
