It’s JUNE…time to PRUNE:
Early blooming perennials should be ready for their first pruning on season:
Salvia: cut back spent spikes to push new growth
Catmint: cut back by 1/3 to encourage new growth
Peonies: deadhead to encourage deeper root growth for next year
Lilacs: cutback dead flowers now. Waiting to long could mean fewer blooms next year
Iris’: cut back spent stalks to the base.

We still have plenty of perennials available that have not bloomed this season. Stop in and check them out. Wed-Fri 9-5, Sat 9-12

Little to no maintenance, vigorous growers thrive and bloom continuously in the full sun and heat! They work wonderfully in the landscape, pots or hangers. You really can’t go wrong!
