Large-scale warehouse renovation — completed while the facility stayed fully operational.

Our scope on this industrial project included fabric duct HVAC system installation across the full warehouse ceiling, interior partition framing and drywall, chain link security enclosure construction, data and low-voltage wire runs throughout the facility, and bollard installation for traffic and safety control.

Most people only see a commercial space once it’s finished. What they don’t see is everything that had to happen in the right order to get there — framing before electrical, electrical before insulation, every inspection cleared before the next trade can move in.

Layered on top of that is dealing with the city or county every step of the way — permits, code requirements, inspectors, and the different ways each jurisdiction handles its process. And inevitably, something unexpected comes up mid-project that has to get solved without throwing off the whole timeline.

That coordination and problem-solving is the real work of general contracting, even though it’s the part nobody notices when it goes well. We’ve been managing it for over 25 years across Central Virginia.
