🦟 Has anyone else started noticing mosquitoes already coming out?

This hot weather this week, combined with the rain later in the week, is usually when mosquito and tick activity really begins to pick up in neighborhoods, wooded areas, and backyards.

I’m a local solo operator with Mr. Mosquito Guy LLC — not a big national company — so when you message me, you’re dealing directly with the person who does the treatments and services the properties.

I focus on targeted mosquito and tick treatments around their usual hiding spots: shaded bushes, fence lines, mulch beds, damp areas, wooded edges, etc. I also avoid treating flowering plants directly and take a more considerate approach to pollinators.

Most people want to enjoy sitting outside again without constantly swatting mosquitoes or worrying about ticks on pets and kids.

Just a heads up…

With all this rain this weekend and the warmer weather staying around next week, ticks and mosquitoes are about to pick up fast.

They love wet ground, tall grass, and wooded areas, so places around Chadds Ford, Aston, Media, and Kennett Square tend to see the worst of it.

If you’ve got pets or spend time in the yard, it's definitely worth keeping an eye out over the next week or two.

Ticks are already out—and they’re bad this year.

With all the rain and warmer weather, they’re popping up heavy—especially around wooded areas in Chadds Ford, Aston, Media, and Kennett Square.

I’ve already been getting messages from neighbors who've found their dogs around their homes.

The thing is… once they show up in your yard, they don’t just go away.

Most people wait until it’s a problem—but by then, it’s a lot harder to deal with, and schedules are already packed.
