On the first 2 pics the RED gasket is not supposed to be all crumpled up like that. We removed and replaced gasket. This gasket stops water from leaking into the toilet from the tank when it's sitting still. In the last 2 pics the black piece inside of the faucet is the new, no longer leaking cartridge on a MOEN faucet.

Culprit found!! That HORRIBLE smell in their bathroom?! Studor vent, AAV, etc. Several names, one awful smell. The black piece at the top of the piping needs to be changed every so often. When it needs to be changed and isn't, it allows sewer gases to come back into the house and will smell up an entire room. These vents are used when you cant run a traditional vent out of the roof.

Multiple pics from a "no heat" service call today. Storm came through and shut them down. Back up and running now.

Diagnosing a leaking handle on a 2 year old MOEN faucet. It ended up being the cartridge inside. On this job it will be cheaper to replace the cartridge than a faucet remove/replace since the faucet itself isn't that old.
