We got asked to try to rehabilitate and save this old irrigation well that’s been slowly losing its gravel pack and production the last couple of years. After informing the customer of the risks of working inside of a 60+ yr old well, we were able to clean out almost 40 feet of sand sediment and surface gravel that had worked its way down and under the casing over time. This is a video of the last of the gravel coming out before we offficially reached the bottom of the hole. The well and casing seem to be in good shape and producing better now though time will tell if this was the appropriate fix or not
