Sometimes the ugliest bathrooms can become showstoppers✨

This is the after of the bathroom in Cottage on Fort, and when I first started this bathroom renovation, the space was ugly, outdated, and honestly embarrassing. The tile was cracked, the vanity had seen better days, the walls were stained with ni****ne and the whole room felt more like a dungeon than a retreat.

But with a lot of vision, hours of hard work, and the right design choices, this bathroom renovation completely transformed into a light, bright, and welcoming space. 🛁💫

One of my favorite quirks about our 1915 house is the second floor hallway.

After walking upstairs, you are met with a choice of 7 doors, wrapping around the room like a cocoon! Some open in, some open out, some big, some small, all going to their own room. And all (except one) in a row! I couldn’t get all of them in one picture 🤣

(PS- interestingly, while the first floor has stained trim, the second floor trim was never stained- it’s paint-grade wood that has always been painted)

Watch this incredibly satisfying timelapse of a complete front yard transformation! We took this space from an overgrown, weedy jungle to a beautifully landscaped modern garden.
Watch the hard work unfold as we clear out the brush, use a mini excavator to level the ground, lay down a brand new brick pathway, and roll out fresh, green turf. To finish it off, we built a custom wooden planter box with a lattice backdrop and filled it with vibrant, colorful flowers. The result is so dramatic, even the neighbor couldn't believe his eyes! 😲🌸
