Horner Park Neighbors

Horner Park Neighbors Working to improve the community since 1988. Serving as a liaison for the neighborhood with the alde

Horner Park Neighbors (formerly the Horner Park West Neighborhood Association) has been working to improve the community since 1988, helping residents to deal with problems they might have, or that they see developing. We serve as a liaison for the neighborhood with the alderman’s office, Chicago Police and other civic organizations. Horner Park Neighbors represents the neighborhood bounded by Mon

trose, California, Irving Park and Sacramento. Horner Park Neighbors holds monthly board meetings that are open to all. Please stay tuned to our social media and emails for updated information. Horner Park Neighbors for much of its history has been a concerns-driven organization, working to keep our community safe and clean. As neighborhood concerns are low at present, we are focusing on social gatherings in the hopes that the friendships formed during this period will keep the neighborhood strong for years to come.

The Horner Park BrewFest Returns on July 17th. Tickets Now on Sale.

For local craft beer lovers, the wait is almost over. Tickets are now on sale for the summer’s big event: the 8th Annual Craft Brew Festival in Horner Park on Friday evening, July 17th. Sponsored by the Horner Park Advisory Council, The Horner Brew Fest is the largest of its kind on the northwest side of Chicago – this year featuring 40 local craft brewers, live music and an array of food trucks.

Held under the trees on the front lawn of beautiful Horner Park, it’s the perfect opportunity to reconnect with friends and neighbors while enjoying live music and sampling the best local beers and ciders available. And it’s all for a good cause. The BrewFest is a fundraiser to support the sustainability initiatives in Horner Park.

This year’s proceeds will be used for the continued preservation of the park’s 89 critically-endangered ash trees and Horner’s certification as an internationally-accredited arboretum. Additional objectives are for improvements along the park’s restored river front and natural areas.

Save the Date: Friday, July 17, 2026; 6-10 PM. For more information, visit the Horner BrewFest website.

The last four festivals have sold out so don’t wait too long to secure your admission. Tickets are available on Eventbrite:

🌿 HPN Seeking Board Members 🌿
HPN’s mission is to act as an arm of the local community by building a sense of community, actively enhancing the quality of life of its patrons, and working as representatives and advocates for the neighborhood in day‑to‑day functions.
We accomplish this through the following core activities:
• Neighborhood activities and get‑togethers – bringing neighbors together
• Beautification and cleanup efforts
• Supporting local businesses and schools through outreach and fundraisers
• Representing neighbors at key community meetings
• Creating a forum for the community to interact and stay connected
• Environment and parks initiatives
If you are interested, please direct message us and a Board member will get back to you.
