I thank God every day for the two incredible women who have shaped so much of the person I am today and have been such an important part of the success I’ve found in a career I’m deeply passionate about. ❤️
One of those women is my Grandma Helen.
At 96 years old, she is the matriarch of our family and truly one of the strongest women I know. Her influence on my life reaches far beyond anything I could ever put into words.
Grandma taught me compassion. She taught me to treat people with kindness and grace, regardless of how they may treat you in return. She showed me through her own life that no matter the circumstances, no matter the obstacles, and no matter how heavily the odds may seem stacked against you, you can still succeed when you put your heart, your mind, and your whole spirit into your dreams.
Those lessons have followed me throughout my life and career. So much of who I am, how I treat people, and how I continue pushing forward comes from the example she set for me.
This week, our family had quite a scare when Grandma Helen was admitted to the ER. Thankfully, things are looking up, and I’m incredibly grateful to still be able to sit beside her, hold her hand, make her smile, and remind her just how loved she is. ❤️
I am so incredibly proud to be her grandson.
If you have a moment, I would be grateful if you would keep my Grandma Helen in your thoughts and prayers as she continues to recover. 🙏❤️
96 years of strength, resilience, compassion, and love. What a blessing it is to call her Grandma. ❤️
