During Thanksgiving week I searched every grocery store for sweet potatoes to make for dinner. I couldn’t find any; not fresh, not canned. Nothing. I was tending to my indoor plants and decided to repot the sweet potato vine from my porch. When I lifted the plant, can you guess what I found!

Kira wasn’t kidding when she said she’s no green goddess. The truth is, plant care journey is all about learning the ropes - 10% commitment and 90% patience. We want instant results, but good things take time. I admire Kira’s dedication to her plant baby. Unfortunately I had to return it to the prop station. I’ve marked it and will I’ll be keeping tabs on its progress. In the meantime, let’s give Kira another go, I’m quite confident she can master plant parenting and be a green thumb pro in no time!
