One question I get asked all the time is, 'How do you refinish oak cabinets without hiding the wood grain?'

The answer is actually pretty simple. It all comes down to what the customer wants.

On this project, the homeowner wanted to keep the natural beauty and character of the oak wood grain. So instead of filling the grain to create a smooth finish, we leave it visible and focus on creating a durable, factory-quality finish.

We still go through all the proper preparation—cleaning, sanding, priming where needed, and making sure the surface is ready. Then we spray a premium 2K topcoat using professional equipment. This gives the cabinets outstanding durability, excellent protection, and a beautiful, even finish while allowing the oak grain to remain visible.

Every kitchen is different, and that's why we customize our process to match each customer's vision. Whether you want a perfectly smooth modern finish or you want to showcase the natural oak grain, we'll make sure it's done the right way.
