Public service announcement: Beware as you are out about in coming days. The much needed snow will be thawing briefly replenishing our watertables. An adverse effect to that runoff on our roadways will cause refreezing over night allowing for black ice to form. The Antilock Braking Systems on our vehicles are not designed to operate on ice causing wrecks at high speeds. Be aware and keep your distance to allow other motorists and yourself to get to the destination safely.
