🎨🚴‍♂️ There’s a story behind the new mural on our building!

Our co-owners, Chris and Patrick, share their inspiration for the mural, its connection to Bike Route 76, and why we wanted to create something that celebrates the cycling community and the place we’re lucky to call home.

The mural was brought to life by Tandem, a talented local artist team from Roanoke, and we loved watching their vision come together on our building. ✨

Our office got a pretty serious upgrade. 🚲

We recently had this custom mural installed on the side of our Christiansburg office, inspired by Bike Route 76, which runs right past our building.

The mural was created by Tandem, a Roanoke-based husband-and-wife team, and painted on metal panels before Chris and Patrick installed it themselves.

The mural features some familiar sights from around here, including the Smart Road Bridge, our surrounding mountains, and a train rolling past our office, along with Route 76 stretching across Virginia and the U.S.

And naturally, our two avid biking owners had to pose with their new favorite piece of wall art. 😂🚲

We love seeing a little more of the New River Valley on our walls!

Welcome back, Hokies! 😁🦃🎓

As a new semester gets underway at Virginia Tech, we're taking a look back at a project that's been working hard on campus for more than a decade.

Back in 2012, Baseline Solar partnered with Altenergy to install this solar system at Perry Street Garage. The photos show the project coming together—and the finished system that's been producing clean energy ever since.

Virginia Tech holds a special place in Baseline's story. Both of our owners are Hokies, and it's always a little extra special to see solar at work on the campus we know and love.

It's officially back-to-school season here in the NRV! ☀️📚

Back in 2017, our team installed this solar array at Early Challenges in Christiansburg. Almost a decade later, their system is still going strong and producing clean energy for this long-established childcare facility.

We love seeing local schools and childcare organizations make the switch to solar—and we're proud to have been doing it here in the New River Valley for years.

One more Christiansburg home generating its own power. ☀️

From getting the panels safely onto the roof to the neatly organized wiring and final system monitoring, every detail matters. And the best part? This system is already producing clean energy, with 549 watts of power captured when we took the screenshot. ⚡
