Often times you will not see us mowing in the rain, heavy or light. Sometimes we get caught in it, sometimes we have to in order to keep lawns lush and healthy. But if we have the option, we will wait it out and reschedule as necessary.

Why? First and foremost, it simply comes down to safety! Rain makes things slick. This increases the risk of our tires slipping, putting not only us, but everyone around us potentially at risk. Also, we many properties we have to park on the side of the road. Rainy weather can create lower visibility, making it more difficult to see us and our equipment.

Second, for quality and grass health reasons. As we said, things get slick. This increase the chances for "tearing" grass on our turns, no matter how careful we are. Wet soil also compacts easily, leading to root damage and unhealthy grass. Rutting can also occur.

Third, our equipment is costly, the last thing we want to do is put it into conditions that will reduce the lifespan. This helps us help you- less equipment replacement equals us being able to keep our costs down!

When we purchased our shirts from Huddy & Co., Jamie was awesome enough to throw in an extra! This is the perfect sweatshirt to sit around the evening fire, enjoy the sunrise/sunset, or just cozy up with a good book or, it can be your next favorite chore sweatshirt!

You'll see us wearing these sweatshirts while we are out working in the cooler temperatures. Why? Because they are durable, dry quick, keep us warm, and are comfy.
