What a beautiful blue-sky day yesterday was! Perfect temperature, too!

Did you know? We operate on quality over quantity. We would rather take a few extra minutes to make your yard look the best we can rather than cramming in so much work that we can't.

This isn't saying we are perfect or the best out there, and we aren't for everyone. And that is FINE! Everyone is different, and there are plenty of options out there. First, THANK YOU so much for all the love, shares, comments, and support lately! I’m sure a few of you have gotten an invite from me to like our page 💕
I’m trying to get us to 2,000 followers, and we’re less than 75 away! We’ve been getting some great traction with all the new fall clothes we’ve been sharing, and I appreciate every single interaction more than you know.

I also realized…it’s been a while since I’ve actually introduced myself!

I’m Jaimee, owner of Small Town Boutique + Huddy & Co., mom to Hudson and Wade, and fiancée to Aaron. 👋 Our life is chaotic, fun, and pretty much run by chaos — between kids, businesses, sports, family, and everything else we somehow squeeze in there. 😂 But I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Huddy & Co. is our custom apparel business tucked right in the back of the boutique, and believe it or not, we’re coming up on TEN YEARS in business! We started it when Hudson was just a baby, and somehow he’ll be turning 10 in March. 🥹 I’m really not sure how that happened so quickly!

Small Town Boutique came a little later. We first incubated the boutique inside the Adirondack Trading Post, then took the leap into our own storefront at 106 Montcalm Street. After a few years there, life threw us a curveball and we unexpectedly found our new home at 110 Montcalm Street. We absolutely LOVE it here. It’s bright, cozy, welcoming, and we are incredibly thankful to the owners for giving us a place to land during what was a pretty stressful time. 🤍

Today, we carry some of our favorite brands like Zenana, Judy Blue, Risen, Doe & Rae (always a fan favorite!) and so many more. We’re constantly trying new brands and bringing in new styles — and we want to hear from YOU! Most importantly, we are here for our local community. We’re open year-round, Monday through Saturday from 10–4, right in the heart of downtown Ticonderoga at 110 Montcalm Street.

We’re excited to keep growing, trying new things, and hopefully being here for many, many more years.

You'll see a lot of ECHO USA equipment on our trailer. In fact, anything with an engine that doesn't have wheels is an Echo. There are a few big reasons for this, for us.

One if the biggest reasons we use the same brand widespread is we basically have a mobile parts shop if needed on the fly. No stopping operations while waiting for a part. Need a field fix? You got! This minimizes our down time significantly while waiting for new parts.

Another reason, they work for us. Everyone has their brand preference, ours is Echo. They offer an amazing variety to fit all our job needs. Sure, other brands out there may offer similar options, but we've had no reason to switch.

Third, Echo is easy to find around the area. So IF we ever need a full replacement quick, we are likely to find something locally!

Our mowers usually steal the show, but Generous Family Mowing Service LLC would not be where it is today without our support equipment. Shout out to Echo for an amazing product line!

Amazing day out today, we cant wait for this to be full time business, we are growing so quick.
We are looking to add on next year 2027, 30 plus yards a week.

We broke 400 hours on our Bradley Mowers INC yesterday! We were servicing roadsides for another of our favorites when the meter turned over.

Thank you to all our amazing customers for allowing us to get to this point!

Also, you may notice a lot of favorites lately. In truth, each and every property we service is our favorite! We would not be where we are without the support from our loyal, amazing customers!!

I was recently asked if we use AI. Short answer: Yes, to a small extent.

Long answer:

We use AI for certain parts of our business, especially advertising on social media. Our infographics, flyers, and similar items have been coming from AI. Please note- any pictures we post of yards we service are ours! I have taken those pictures and they are not edited in anyway, besides maybe cropping.

Sometimes I will use AI to help change up phrases we use all the time. It is very helpful in creating and inspiring new ways to say "thank you"! It is rarely used beyond changing up the phrases we use ALL the time.

Our CRM, Yardbook, uses AI for some aspects, but I am the one physically entering the information and double checking everything. Yardbook is a huge time saver and keeps everything nicely organized for us.

We do not rely on AI- we use it sparingly to help enhance our business.

It's that time of year to start thinking about fall projects! Aeration is a great way to help your lawn breath. Spring and fall are common times to aerate your lawn. We use our Billy Goat plug aerator to open pores into your soil. This allows for amazing air exchange to encourage deeper roots. While your entire yard can benefit from this, compact, heavy use areas may benefit the most.

Along with aeration, overseeding can bring several benefits to your lawns health and appearance. There are so many options for different grasses.

We are currently scheduling fall aeration and overseeding! Our contract customers come first, but we expect availability to schedule properties we don't currently service. Scheduling for September, with the possibility of going into October depending on weather.
