Hi Everyone! We are starting a new round of beginner square dance lessons on Monday, Sept 14!

We wanted to extend an invitation to anyone in the community who may be interested in trying it out. It's a great way to socialize, and the first lesson is free!

We'll be meeting at the Assumption Academy Gym for our first lesson (9183 Broadview Rd.)

Square Dancing and Ice Cream...How Sweet! After our last summer workshop, several Brecksville Square members attended an ice cream fundraiser at Handel's Ice Cream in Broadview Heights. And couldn't resist one last tip in the parking lot before indulging in a refreshing treat! What FUN!

Brecksville Squares Introductory 2026 Lessons begin Monday, September 14, starting at 7pm. Our location is Assumption Academy Gym, 9183 Broadview Road, Broadview Heights. Join friendly people and a terrific teacher (Dave Heffron) to learn Modern Square Dancing! It's an evening packed with excitement and fun.

Not only are kids going back to school, but so are Square Dancers from the Cleveland Federation!
Yesterday, over 60 dancers attended the Plus Level Power Up workshop and dance at the Solo Squares Club dance location in Berea. Attendance included several members of Brecksville Squares, along with many other dancers from other Cleveland Federation clubs. Many thanks to the Cleveland Federation leadership, Solo Squares (host club), and to our terrific instructors/callers Dave Heffron and John Ramsey! Several times during the morning workshop we fielded 7 squares of dancers eager to learn the new Plus calls. Plus pizza and lots of homemade goodies throughout the day! Thanks to all who contributed. I was so busy and having fun I forgot to take pictures of the dancers!
It was an excellent event! Thanks to all, and here’s to continuing our journey to learn the new calls.
