The reality is that a large percentage of systems we service have no test ports installed, which means proper commissioning was never performed. Without measurements, airflow and refrigerant performance are simply guesses.

Manometer!…. Or whatever that song says. 🤣 Great HVAC companies don’t guess, they measure. A manometer tells us how hard your system is working to move air, helping us identify airflow problems that affect comfort, efficiency, and equipment life. It’s just one of the tools that separates a quick changeout from a properly commissioned system.

Let’s talk about leaks! Not all are this easy to find. Did you know some leaks can be vibration, temperature, or pressure dependent and only show up during specific conditions? It makes our job a pain sometimes but it’s good for you to know that if you’re system is leaking period, it’s not supposed to. These are sealed systems and that means you shouldn’t have to top off or add refrigerant unless you are loosing it somehow.
