For this transformation, we:

• Removed and hauled away the existing carpet
• Installed brand-new solid hardwood flooring
• Built and installed a custom step
• Extended and rebuilt an additional step leading down into the living room
• Installed a completely new staircase
• Sanded, stained, and finished all new hardwood and stair components for a seamless, cohesive look

✨ Prefinished Hardwood Floor Restoration Completed in Monument! ✨

This project in Monument is a perfect example of why solid hardwood flooring is one of the best long-term investments you can make in your home.

When we arrived, this prefinished hardwood floor had seen better days and was in rough shape. Many homeowners assume a damaged floor needs to be replaced, but with the right equipment, experience, and a lot of elbow grease, we were able to completely restore it.

For this project, we:

• Professionally sanded the floor down to raw wood
• Removed the factory beveled edges for a flatter, more seamless appearance
• Refinished the entire floor to look like brand-new site-finished hardwood
• Restored the beauty and life of the existing solid hardwood flooring

The transformation was incredible, and the floor came out absolutely beautiful.

We recently wrapped up an incredible project in Denver, and the results came out absolutely stunning.

For this project, we:

• Installed brand-new hardwood flooring throughout the entire main level
• Crafted and installed custom reducers at each back door for a clean, seamless transition
• Replaced the full stair system with custom solid hardwood treads and risers
• Installed a brand-new custom handrail system
• Sanded and refinished both the existing and newly installed hardwood flooring together for one seamless look
• Extended the hardwood into the upstairs hallway
• Finished everything with a natural water-based finish to highlight the wood’s true beauty and provide long-lasting durability

🏡✨ Custom Hardwood Stairs, Seamless Transitions & a Stunning NordicSeal Finish ✨🏡

We’re excited to share another beautiful project completed by Legendary Custom Hardwoods.

This project included:
✔️ A custom set of open-end hardwood stairs
✔️ An outside skirt for a clean, high-end finished look
✔️ Installation of 2¼” Red Oak hardwood flooring in the lower-level living room
✔️ Sanding and refinishing of both the existing and newly installed flooring so everything blended seamlessly
✔️ Bona NordicSeal for a light, modern, elegant finish
✔️ Stone undercut at the fireplace so the hardwood slides underneath for a true seamless transition

As with all of our projects, we used professional dust containment equipment to keep airborne dust to a minimum and maintain a clean home throughout the process.

The handrail installation is still in progress, and we can’t wait to share photos of the completed railing system in a separate post.

This project turned out absolutely beautiful, and we are grateful to have worked with another wonderful set of homeowners.

🔨✨ Another Beautiful Red Oak Hardwood Flooring Project Completed by Legendary Custom Hardwoods ✨🔨

We recently completed another stunning hardwood flooring project featuring 2¼” Red Oak, professionally stained in the timeless and popular Early American color.

This project included:
✔️ Repairing several damaged areas of the existing hardwood flooring
✔️ Installing custom bullnosing around the stairwell for a clean, finished look
✔️ Sanding and refinishing the floor to create a seamless, uniform appearance throughout the space

The transformation turned out beautifully, and the Early American stain brought out the natural warmth and character of the red oak.

We’ll also be sharing a separate post featuring the custom handrail system we installed to complete this project.

It was a pleasure meeting and working with these wonderful homeowners, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to help bring their vision to life. Most importantly, they were extremely happy with the final result.

🏡✨ Another Beautiful Hardwood Flooring Transformation by Legendary Custom Hardwoods ✨🏡

We recently completed a stunning hardwood flooring project that involved lacing in new flooring into three separate areas of the home, creating a seamless and natural flow throughout the space.

This project featured:
✔️ 2¼” Red Oak Hardwood Flooring
✔️ Professionally stained in a rich Nutmeg color
✔️ Precision lace-in work in three different areas
✔️ Stone undercut at the fireplace for a clean, seamless transition
✔️ Minimal dust with our advanced containment system (approximately 95% dust captured)

Instead of scribing around the stone fireplace, we carefully undercut the stone so the hardwood slides underneath for a much cleaner, more professional appearance. It’s details like this that truly set a project apart.

Even with extensive cutting and installation, our professional dust containment system and HEPA-equipped tools helped keep the home clean and comfortable throughout the process.

The finished floor turned out absolutely beautiful, and it was a pleasure meeting and working with these wonderful homeowners.
