Today we finished up a deck replacement in Kings Deer outside of Monument. Almost all the old joists had rotted on the top and several of the decking just crumbled. Now this new deck will be solid for decades by bringing the framing up to current code and it looks great with fresh trex decking on top.

Shoutout to our new team members Akeza and Corbin for their hard work the last few days on this.

They are calling for 3-6” of snow between tonight and tomorrow. Highest amounts on the north side of town. That makes it hard to mow when the grass is covered in snow. ⛄️

Just like we have every year, we have snow coming in around Mother’s Day. Some forecast are calling for around 7 to 10 inches here in the Colorado Springs area so we’ll see what happens over the next couple days. Definitely hard to start our mowing routes this week with snow on top of the grass, but we will figure that out.

Yesterday we started a small project to create some breeze walkways for a double amputee so that he can get from his house to his parents house on the same property and also get to the dog run to take his dog out a lot easier than going over the dirt by the end of it. These walkways will be extremely hard and glued together so that it provides a solid surface for him to ride on with his wheelchair

Finished this wall extension and pergola build for a returning customer on Monday. We did the larger patio and planter bed walls a couple years ago and the customer installed the pavers. We came back to add on to the patio and install this custom pergola bringing together the materials and the visitor of the customer.

This is why we do not turn on irrigation systems before May. Be patient as the Colorado false spring is almost over. Our lawns will be fine without daily water and will still come back full and lush even with the warm temps we have had the last couple months.
