Awesome Progress this week on our Westhaven remodel. Structural changes always provide their own unique challenges, but in a 3 story home those challenges amplify. Thankful for an awesome team of engineers who help us tackle these challenges the right way, and for our awesome team of carpenters who take pride in doing things correctly even when the job is pretty dang hard. Load bearing beams, steel columns, and new foundation piers complete. Now it’s time to frame the new layout.

Elegance found in simplicity. Designing long, skinny bathrooms is a challenge. Most of the time in this scenario, we encourage our clients to keep it simple, don’t overthink the layout. Beauty is often times found in the most subtle of details. Some of our favorite details we incorporated in this primary bathroom:

- furniture style vanities
- Center chandelier
- Glass k***s on the door handles

Another business in the books! Big shout out to the awesome husband and wife team of Caleb and Morgan for letting us be a small part of this fun remodel! Quick help with a 14’ tall partition wall, 2 arched entries, inset custom circle sign and backlit signage, and updated electrical and lighting to suit their needs.

Go check them out if you haven’t already, you probably won’t thank me afterwards though… 🥵🚴‍♀️

Now that’s a staircase…. Hats off to our amazing team of trades and vendors for coming together and pulling this one off with us. It’s wild how many hours of planning it takes to execute a floating stair system and catwalk like this. From the engineering and design on the structural end, to hashing out how to tie all the aesthetics together, to finally executing the finished product, the details are endless… But man is it worth it in the end! More of this awesome home coming soon!

Progress post on our . The guys have been able to make a good dent in the 12,000+ sqft of tongue and groove ceilings throughout. Tile guys are down to just a couple of bathroom showers to finish. The exterior is coming along great as well, we couldn’t be more pleased with how the color of the hardie siding compliments the stone and cedar. And how about the color match on those garage doors with the cedar accents…

The Lofts on Garden. Such a fun project in the heart of historic downtown Columbia that we were privileged to work on and bring to life. Our clients purchased the old Pioneer Credit building right off the square with visions of mixed use space (⬅️ scroll to see how things looked in the begginning). Today, the upstairs portion boasts two residential lofts uniquely designed and decorated to the nines. The downstairs build out consisted of commercial office space, a kitchen, bathrooms, conference room, and welcome area.
