I am a Washingtonian (state, not DC :) ) Married 21 years to the love of my life. Mom to 5 grown kids and grandma to 7 beautiful grand-kiddos. I LOVE creating wall art - mixed media and acrylic are my faves (so far). I love putting together tutorials and kits for grown-ups and kiddos. And always learning new stuff and transforming (Romans 12:2). I try to stay positive and like to include scripture

Next Paint and Sip Party at the Colville Pour House is scheduled for Saturday Feb. 21st @ 1pm!

Price is $40 per person and ticket includes supplies to paint a masterpiece, step by step instructions, one drink of your choice (up to $6) and light snacks!

Something new is happening at The Happy Heart… and I’m in LOVE! 💕
You know how much I adore our paint-and-sip nights (and don’t worry—they’re not going anywhere!). But lately, I’ve fallen head over heels for something new: paper crafting!

It all started with some scrapbook paper, a glue stick, and a little curiosity… and before I knew it, I was making adorable purse-shaped journals that are equal parts Southern charm and crafty magic.

So I thought—why not invite YOU to join in the fun? If you’ve ever said “I’m not really a painter…” this class might be your new creative sweet spot! And if you are one of my paint party regulars, come try something new—you might just get hooked like I did!

Our next class is a Paper Crafting Social, and we’ll be making the Southern Charm Purse Journal—no painting skills needed, just a love of pretty paper and good company.
