I spent 20 years in mining before I built my first luxury cave.

In mining you don't get second chances. Geology wrong, ventilation wrong, water management wrong people get hurt. I carried that standard into every underground space I've ever built.

In 1997, I saw what wine country needed beneath the ground. Climate precision. Preservation. Privacy. I built the first one that year.

The client cried when they walked in. Not because it was beautiful because it was exactly what they'd imagined.

I've been chasing that moment ever since.
