Welcome to Exceptional Quality Lawn Care, LLC. My name is Tom Mathews. My wife Laurie and I live in the middle of the woods in Springfield Township, Bucks County, with our three German Shepherd Dogs, Xena, Abby, and Julian, and our Pitbull Piggy. When we're not working, we enjoy puttering around the yard, playing with our dogs, and visiting flea markets and yard sales. I have over 30 years of expe

rience in the lawn care, landscaping, and hardscaping industry working for companies including, but not limited to, Chestnut Hill Landscaping in Center Valley, Freedom Lawn Care and Landscaping in Fountain Hill, and Mountain Valley Landscaping in New Tripoli. Over the years I thought about going into business for myself. I almost made the leap in the Spring of 2018 but decided the time wasn’t right. This year we decided that we would be ready to start our own business beginning Spring 2022, but to my surprise at the end of my workday on October 2, 2021, I learned that the company I was working for had been sold. Our plan to start our own lawn care business had just been accelerated from starting at the beginning of next season to immediately. (Who starts a lawn care business at the end of the season? It's probably not the best idea.) Laurie is primarily responsible for the administrative side of the business, but you may find her working with me every once and a while. Feel free to contact either of us with any questions or concerns. Exceptional Quality Lawn Care focuses on Weekly Mowing; Fall & Spring Cleanup; Shrub, Hedge, & Small Tree Trimming; Flower Bed Maintenance; Mulching; and Snow Removal.

While not a native plant, dandelions are an early food source for pollinators and have some other benefits that make it worth a mention on National W**d Appreciation Day.

Dandelions don't pose any real threats to native plants or wildlife, so enjoy them or not! **dAppreciationDay

Today was Day 1 of W**ding and Trimming for new customers referred to us by our primary care physician - Before and After

Process: Pull large w**ds, trim shrubs and trees, pull small w**ds.

The big w**d with green and purple berries is Pokew**d. All parts of it are extremely toxic, i.e., fatal, to humans and pets if ingested. If you have it in your yard, get rid of it! I wore gloves when touching it. We got rid of all of it in the front yard and most of it in the backyard.
