When I arrived, the indoor unit started fine, but the outdoor unit wasn’t kicking on — just a humming noise.

After checking the electrical compartment, I found the dual run capacitor had failed. The photos show the old capacitor readings vs. the new one.
Installed a new capacitor, restarted the system, and everything came right online.

Compressor is pulling 6.9A, which is exactly where it should be.

Another home cooling again.

At Cicone Heating & Cooling, we love keeping our customers comfortable. Just finished a job for a friend — cleaned the coil, added a little refrigerant, and the system is cooling great again.

A clean coil and proper refrigerant level make a huge difference in efficiency once the heat kicks in.
