🚨Graduation Alert🚨

Del Mar College’s Spring 2022 Graduation Packet deadline is Wednesday, February 23rd.
If you are enrolled in your last semester of classes, please apply for graduation. All students will need to submit a signed, system generated academic evaluation along with their graduation application to [email protected]. Please be advised of the following:

You must apply for graduation whether you plan to participate in commencement ceremonies or not.

You must apply for graduation in order to have your respective degrees/certificates recognized on your transcript.
The graduation application and signed degree audit must be received together – in the same email.
The degree audit will need an original signature, not a stamped signature from the advisor.
If you have not completed degree/certificate requirements, you should not submit the graduation application.
If you are applying for multiple degrees and/or certificates, you will need to submit a system generated academic evaluation for every program of study for which you expect to receive a diploma.
If you are seeking a second degree, the degree must be significantly different from any previous degrees.
All subsequent degrees must differ from the first degree by 20% of the required semester hours.
Questions regarding the 20% difference should be directed to your advisor
Incomplete graduation packets, including applications received that are missing degree evaluations, signatures, etc., will not be processed.

Del Mar College will be closed Monday, January 17, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The college will reopen and classes will begin for Spring Semester 2022 on Tuesday, January 18.

DMC has launched the Add a Free Class campaign to provide students an additional class during alternative terms free of charge in the Spring 2022 semester. This is a FREE CLASS made possible by federal HEERF III Emergency Student Aid funds. To start the process, click here.

Qualifying alternative terms are:

▪ 15 weeks
▪ 8-weeks Session II
▪ 5 weeks
▪ 6 weeks
▪ 7 weeks
▪ Mini courses
▪ Maymester

Alternative terms are subject to availability so don’t wait to register!

Please note: Dual credit and some fire and police cadet students are not eligible for the Add a Free Class program.
