Building a custom home is kind of like a marriage. 💍

It starts with excitement, big dreams, and everybody on the same page.

Then somewhere in the middle… it gets hard. 😂

Decisions pile up. Stress kicks in. Everybody has an opinion.
But if you stick with it — if you trust the process and trust your builder — you end up with something neither of you could've done alone.

This couple and I made it to the finish line together. And their home is absolutely worth every tough conversation we had along the way.

I didn’t grow up wanting to be a businessman.
I grew up wanting to build things.

There’s something about taking raw materials — lumber, concrete, sweat — and turning it into a place where somebody’s gonna raise their kids, host their Thanksgivings, and make the memories that last a lifetime. That never gets old to me.

My name is TJ Pryor. I’m a Corsicana native, and I run Texas Custom Living — a custom home/remodel building company built right here in Navarro County, for the people who live here.

I’m not a big corporation. I’m not a developer throwing up subdivisions as fast as I can. I’m a builder. I answer my own phone. I’m on my job sites.

And when something’s not right, I make it right — because my name is on every single home I build.
