Corvallis Gondar Walk For Water

Corvallis Gondar Walk For Water Corvallis Walk for Water is an activity of the Corvallis-Gondar Sister Cities Association to fund the construction of wells in Gondar, Ethiopia.

Approximately 40 the 50 villages and neighborhoods in the Gondar area lack access to clean water. The Wells Project of the Corvallis-Gondar Sister Cities Association seeks to alleviate that situation by funding the construction of drinking water wells in those villages. To date we have funded 17 wells that serve more than 6,500 people. Walk for Water is our major annual fundraiser for this project.
