Another bush hogging job knocked out yesterday. We cleared up 3 fields totaling about 7 acres in just 8 hours — 2 fields in West Lafayette and another in Newcomerstown.

The properties included a mix of pasture and open fields, with everything brought back under control and left looking clean and manageable.

Earlier this week we completed another commercial clearing job.

We cleared roughly ½ acre to prepare this property for a future building. This was a complete clearing, so we removed all trees, brush, stumps, and root systems and hauled everything off-site.

The creek running through the property made the job a little more involved, requiring us to move equipment and work back and forth between both sides of the property. Once the clearing was finished, we cleaned everything up and installed a safety fence around the creek.

2 days from start to finish. The property is now completely cleared and ready for the next stage of construction.

Land Clearing Day 1…

Busy week here at Fresno Landworks. Today we finished up a large gravel driveway and parking pad for a customer in New Philly. Earlier this week, we’ve also been making progress on a land-clearing project and driveway and culvert installation in Coshocton. We also completed a large stump grinding project, including hauling away all of the mulch and cleaning up the area. A lot of work packed into one week, and we appreciate every customer who has trusted us with their property.

Another productive day in the books for Fresno Landworks.

We’re nearly finished with this 2-acre selective clearing project, opening up the property while maintaining the natural character of the woods.

For this project, we selectively removed unwanted brush, smaller growth, and trees that needed to be cleared while preserving the healthy hardwood and deciduous trees throughout the property. The goal was to create a cleaner, more usable property without simply clearing everything in sight.

At the same time, we were able to keep another recently completed clearing project moving by getting the debris pile burned down.

And to top off the day, we received some great news:

Fresno Landworks has been ranked the #1 Excavating Contractor in Coshocton County for August 2026 by BusinessRate, with a Benchmark Score of 232 out of 300.

Another driveway & lot transformation by Fresno Landworks!

This one was a great example of why you don’t always need to bring in a bunch of new material to get an old gravel drive and lot looking right again.

We reclaimed, regraded, and refinished the existing gravel throughout the driveway and connected lot.

No new gravel was brought in. What you see here was already on the property — it had simply become buried, spread out, and overtaken with grass and vegetation over time.

We pulled that existing material back into shape, redistributed it, cleaned up the edges, and gave the entire area a fresh, usable finish.

A lot of times, the material you need is already there — it just needs the right equipment and some work to bring it back.
