A meaningful milestone for the Patient Wing Expansion at FMOL Health | Our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital.

Before the foundation was poured, staff priests blessed medals placed within it, symbolizing faith, protection, and a strong start for what lies ahead.

Construction has begun!

We are proud to be working with Hospital Service District No. 1 in partnership with Ochsner Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital to bring this project to life.

This project is a meaningful investment in local healthcare, and we're proud to help deliver a space that will serve the community for years to come. Stay tuned for progress updates!

Ochsner Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital is expanding access to care in Kaplan with a new medical office building that will bring more services closer to home.

This project reflects our ongoing commitment to support growth and give patients and families more care options close to where they live. Expected to open in summer 2027, the new building will house primary care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and a wellness center. It will be easier than ever for patients to get trusted care in one convenient location.

We are proud to grow with Kaplan and invest in the care this community deserves.

Our Lafayette team recently hosted their annual Area Safety Event in recognition of Safety Month, focusing on the importance of fall protection. It was a great opportunity to reinforce awareness, share knowledge, and strengthen our commitment to keeping every team member safe.
