⭐ May Employee Spotlight: Stan McDaniel ⭐

This month we are shining the spotlight on Stan McDaniel, Job Foreman for our BRI Renovations division! Stan has been a part of the BRI team for 7 years and continues to be someone who takes great pride in both his work and the company he represents.

When asked about some of his favorite memories at BRI, Stan mentioned the day he was hired, getting paid $1,000.00 to quit smoking, and the company Christmas parties.

Stan says BRI offers awesome support for its employees and leadership second to none. He shared that he has worked many jobs throughout his life, but Jon Burdette is by far the best owner and boss he has ever worked for, and he wanted to personally thank Jon for everything.

Outside of work, Stan enjoys fishing, hunting, working around his house, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings. He also has a passion for playing guitar and singing.

One thing Stan wishes more people knew is that every individual project completed by him and his crew is more than just another job. It is a representation of BRI as a whole and what the company stands for.

🚚 We’re hiring a Material / Parts Driver!

We’re adding a full-time, on-site Material/Parts Driver to our team in Cross Lanes, WV.

This role consists of delivering materials and parts to job sites, keeping deliveries accurate and on time, maintaining the company vehicle, and providing great customer service. Some loading and unloading is required, along with working closely with our team to keep things running smoothly.

Requirements:
✔ Valid WV driver’s license
✔ Clean driving record
✔ Comfortable driving and managing trucks safely
✔ Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
✔ Good communication and customer service skills
✔ Familiar with local WV routes
✔ High school diploma or equivalent
✔ Able to log material purchases using company software
✔ Must pass drug test & background check

Our team recently completed construction of a new garage facility for Snodgrass Funeral Home, designed to provide additional space for their fleet operations.

This Star Building Systems pre-engineered metal building features four garage bays and one dedicated wash bay for vehicle washing and detailing, allowing their team to efficiently maintain the vehicles that serve our community every day.

We appreciate Snodgrass Funeral Home for trusting the Burdette Realty Improvement team with this project and look forward to continuing to support local businesses with quality construction solutions.

"Please join us in celebrating Scott Legg’s new role as VP of Operations! Scott has been a cornerstone of the BRI team for nearly 14 years, most recently providing expert leadership as a Lead Foreman in our Metal Building division. We are excited to have him bring that same dedication to his new role, where he will lead the Building, Mechanical, and Renovation teams. We look forward to his leadership in this next chapter. Our annual BRI Christmas Party was an afternoon filled with good food, laughter, surprises, and holiday spirit. Shoutout to Rice Bowl for catering our lunch! We are so grateful for our amazing team and the joy they bring to the office all year long.
