MY NEIGHBOR KEPT ASKING ME TO CARPOOL HER KID, BUT REFUSED WHEN I ASKED FOR ONE FAVOR—SO I GOT EVEN
My neighbor Karen has a daughter the same age as mine. She asked me to take her daughter, Emily, to school "just this once" because of an early meeting. No problem, I thought. But "just this once" turned into almost daily requests. I became her unpaid taxi service—no offer to pay for gas, no offer to return the favor.
Then, last week, I was running late and asked Karen if she could take my daughter, Sophie, just this once. Her response? "Oh, um… I would, but there's just not enough space in my car." Mind you, she drives an SUV.
I was furious. It was a blatant lie, and she didn't even try to hide it. So, I decided to teach her a lesson.
The next morning, as expected, she texted: "Can you take Emily to school today? I've got an early meeting. Thanks!"
Perfect. I replied, "Sure thing, Karen. No problem!"

A $30 CAKE DESTROYED MY MARRIAGE – I FOUND THE PERFECT WAY TO SERVE MY REVENGE.
On my husband's birthday, the doorbell rang, and I rushed to answer it, only to be greeted by a cake delivery. I hadn't ordered anything, but with my hands full of party preparations, I just signed for the delivery and popped the cake in the fridge, assuming it might be a surprise gift from someone.
Well, it was definitely a surprise, but not in the way I expected. As the guests arrived and my husband enjoyed himself with family and friends, I took the cake out of the fridge and opened the box.
I nearly dropped the cake when I saw it was a photo cake with a screenshot of a conversation. As I read it, my stomach turned. That's when I decided to wait until everyone gathered around the table to ⬇️

MY STEPDAUGHTER DEMANDED I TRANSFER ALL THE ASSETS OF HER LATE DAD TO HER & HER — I DID, BUT SHE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT ONE LITTLE DETAIL.
I (57F) lost my husband of 25 years last year. He had a daughter, Susan (34F).
Our relationship with Susan was fine. She got married to the man of her choice, but after that, it was all downhill.
When he died, he didn't leave a will. After his death, Susan didn't even attend his funeral. Barely six months later, she and her husband barged into our house with a lawyer, demanding I sign some documents and a blank sheet.
I asked the lawyer what it was about. He said it was for transferring all the assets into Susan and her husband's name. I said no. When they refused to leave, my neighbor, bless his heart, heard the yelling and physically kicked them out.
She didn't stop calling...so I gave up. But there's one thing she DIDN'T know. A week later, she stormed into my home and yelled, "HOW DID YOU" ⬇️

NEIGHBORS INSTALLED A CAMERA AIMED AT MY GARDEN – I TAUGHT THEM A SAVAGE LESSON WITHOUT GOING TO COURT
So, a middle-aged couple moved in next door recently. No kids, just them. They came over to say hi and acted all weird, but I brushed it off. A week later, I went to visit my mom for the weekend. When I got back, I was ready to relax in my backyard after work, wearing my swimsuit to catch some sun and tend to my tomatoes. As I'm lying there, I glance over at their house, and BAM! Under their eaves, there's a surveillance camera pointed right at my yard, recording everything. My yard, mind you, is surrounded by a high fence.
I was fuming. No windows of theirs even face my yard, so that camera had no business being there. I threw on some clothes and stormed over to their place, demanding to know why they were filming my yard. They said they were recording the fence to PREVENT ANYONE FROM CLIMBING OVER FROM MY SIDE. I told them they were violating my privacy, but they couldn't care less. Sure, I could've taken them to court, but who’s got the time for that? Instead, I cooked up a brilliant plan to teach them a lesson.

I FOUND A BLANKET I KNITTED FOR MY LATE DAUGHTER AT MY MIL'S GARAGE SALE.

Five years ago, when I finally got pregnant with my first child, we decided to name her Daisy. I spent months knitting a pink blanket adorned with white daisies.

The day Daisy was born, I held her in my arms, wrapped her in the blanket, and we took our first and LAST photo together because hours later, the doctor told me she died.

I screamed, cried, and begged to see her, but my husband, Aaron, and my MIL, Margaret, insisted it was best to remember her as she was. They told me they arranged the funeral, but I was too weak to attend. I spiraled into a deep depression in the following years.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago, Margaret held a garage sale. While browsing, I froze. There it was: Daisy's blanket. Every stitch, every detail was the same.

Shaking, I confronted Margaret. "Why is this here? This was buried with Daisy!"

She looked ghost-pale, but before she could respond, Aaron walked in. I held up the blanket. "You told me she was buried in this! What's going on?"

I ACCIDENTALLY FOUND OUT THAT MY NEIGHBORS USED MY HOT TUB FOR MORE THAN A YEAR WITHOUT ME KNOWING — I TAUGHT THEM A LESSON THEY WON'T EVER FORGET.

My husband Tom and I bought our dream house with an awesome backyard and a hot tub.

Recently, our neighbor Lisa asked if we could keep it down in the evenings. I was like, "What night are you talking about?" She said there was loud music and shouting from our yard on Sunday night. But we were out of town on Sunday, which was super weird.

After Lisa's comment, we decided to dig a little deeper.

We set up a hidden camera overlooking the hot tub and took a short trip the next weekend, leaving the house empty. When we got back and checked the footage, we were shocked. There, clear as day, was our neighbor Jim and his family chilling in our hot tub, sipping drinks and laughing like they owned the place. They even brought snacks and towels, making themselves right at home.

I was furious. HOW COULD THEY FEEL SO ENTITLED TO USE OUR PROPERTY WITHOUT PERMISSION? I talked it over with Tom, and we decided to teach them a lesson they'd never forget. The next day, we⬇️

ME AND MY HIGH SCHOOL CRUSH MET YEARS LATER. HE INVITED ME ON A RESTAURANT DATE BUT WHEN IT WAS TIME TO PAY THE BILL, I WAS SPEECHLESS.

So, in high school, I was this quiet, nerdy girl who was always in the library. I had a huge crush on Jason, the popular, handsome guy who didn’t even know I existed.

Years later, I've totally changed – no more glasses or braces, and I'm rocking my career. One day, I'm picking avocados at the store and hear, "Emma? Is that you?" I turn and see Jason, looking as good as ever. He's shocked and says I look amazing.

We chat for a bit, and I tell him about my job and how I just moved back to town.

As we're about to say goodbye, he suddenly asks, "Hey, do you want to grab dinner sometime? You know, catch up properly?"
