Staying cool in the shade we come across another fan favorite Hydrangeas! Although sensitive to heat and sun, hydrangeas are know as a perennial. This means they will bloom year round from Spring to Fall, die off in the Winter time and then return in the Spring time!

Quite possibly one of the most beautiful blooms!

Welcome to the Dark Side where we have one of our shade plant favorites! Hot Pink Azaleas! Azaleas require full shade and extremely nutrient rich soil, don’t skip out on the fertilizer with these beautiful plants because they sure are picky about where they grow.

A lot of Azaleas bloom in the springtime with a great display, and that's all they'll do for the year. But some Azaleas bloom in the spring, repeat bloom in the middle of the summer, and then bloom again in the fall.

Another one of our favorites, Sunshine Ligustrum! Being of the Ligustrum Family, the Sunshine variety loves.. well… SUN!

Sunshine Ligustrums a.k.a. Sunshines, are super low maintenance, non-blooming shrubs, that add a nice POP of color to any full sun landscape design!
