Very important safety reminder if you use a space heater this weekend. In addition to the risk of fire, overloading a circuit may cause the breaker to trip and fail to reset. A breaker that won’t reset must be replaced to restore power to the circuit. Stay warm AND safe this weekend!

❄️Cold weather reminder:

✅Plug space heaters directly into the wall outlet and turn off when you leave or go to sleep.

❌Do NOT plug space heaters into power strips or extension cords. Using an extension cord with high wattage appliances can start a fire.

✋Keep anything that can burn at least 3ft from heating equip (furnace, fireplace, wood stove, portable heater).
