Here’s how I made some custom shop made walnut veneered plywood for a project. There would have been a lot of cross grain movement if I hadn’t used veneered plywood on this part of the project, so this is actually the best way, not a cheaper way, to accomplish my goal on this particular build.

Finished up the HUGE 36” x 24” maple pasta board this weekend! Time to get it shipped off to its new owner. Like and follow, lots of great stuff coming out of the workshop faster than ever before!

The Fieldstone Console table! Happy to be able to deliver this to a client soon! The story here is special, to material was provided by the client from a large white oak tree on their property and is now a table being gifted to their son as a wedding present.

I’ve honestly impressed myself with how fast this build came together. I usually quote 16 weeks for a build of this size. But this one was finished in only 9, and even had a companion console table completed in that same stretch. Really happy with how this piece came out. Time to schedule delivery! Built from solid white oak, finished with oil plus 2c “arabica”.
