ATTENTION CUSTOMERS!!!!

The yellow color is a normal stress response for Bermuda grass during extreme heat and rainy periods. When temperatures get very high or the soil stays too wet, the grass temporarily loses some green color while adjusting. This is part of the seasonal process, not usually dead grass. Once we get consistent sunshine, proper drying, and nutrients, Bermuda typically greens back up.”

“Fresh Bermuda sod is a living plant. After it’s harvested from the farm, it begins experiencing stress immediately. Some temporary yellowing is normal during transport and installation, especially in hot weather. With proper watering and sunlight, healthy sod usually greens back up during establishment.”

Important points:

* Yellow does NOT always mean dead
* New sod often looks stressed for 1–3 weeks
* Root establishment is more important first
* Consistent watering is critical during the first 2 weeks
