What a transformation!

In addition to a complete rebuild and redesign we installed a custom marble mantel surround for this customer to match the art deco aesthetic of the home.

This mantel surround came in several pieces totaling in over 1700lbs. It was pretty difficult to install but nothing we couldn’t handle.

It’s that time of year, the busy season is here! We’ve been out today sweeping and inspecting chimneys and fireplaces. While most companies raise their prices this time of year we’re here in fairness, keeping our prices the exact same as they are in the off season. We are however, adding a 4th appointment to our days to handle the volume.

Attached are some photos from the appointments today!

This was a quite the project!

-Unfortunately another contractor framed around this fireplace with wood.

-Fortunately we caught it just before the tile was installed.

-We removed all the combustible framing where it shouldn’t be and framed it with metal studs.

-After that we installed all the tile, relined the flue with stainless steel, parged the smoke chamber, and installed a top mount damper.
