Treated lumber needs several months to dry out before staining and sealing. I set a reminder to reach out to the customers and got them on the calendar to stain the pool deck I built for them in March. I think it turned out great. More importantly, they were pleased!

Ceiling conversion bringing the sheetrock up to expose ceiling joists! This was a unique and challenging project done for a brother from church. He will finish and paint the ceiling and beams.

A 1,700-year-old fresco of Jesus as the Good Shepherd has been found inside a Roman-era tomb in İznik, Türkiye — ancient Nicaea.

The fresco shows a youthful, beardless figure carrying an animal over his shoulders, a form linked to some of the earliest Christian images of Christ.

It was uncovered in the Hisardere Necropolis, near the city where the First Council of Nicaea would later be held in 325 AD.

Shouldn’t be long now! Only flooring, vanity, and toilet remain in this bathroom remodel. Painted wainscot paneling and trim installed. Furred out ceiling area removed and patched. Existing shower.
