Our residential build company, Executive Builds is seeking a dedicated individual for an entry level Carpenter Apprentice position. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will assist a Master Carpenter installing trim on residential projects. You may assist in the shop building, custom cabinetry and millwork as well. This is the perfect position for someone who has a basic understanding of construction and carpentry work, but wants to excel in their craft and commit themselves to a team and eventually be a project manager.
Job Responsibilities:
• Helping install residential trim
• Assisting carpenter in building cabinets, bookcases and other millwork in the shop
• Manual labor may be required such as digging a hole
• Job site masking paper and plastic for dust protection
• Sitting inspections
• Job site cleaning
• Clean the shop
• Bust concrete
• Picking out and delivering materials
• Misc punch list items
• Misc job site labor
• Climbing ladders
• Read a blueprint (not required, but an advantage)
• Translate a clients request into a build (not required, but an advantage)
• Capable of working with power tools including table saws, jackhammers, concrete saws
• Comfortable with communicating and working at the same
• Must be willing to travel
o Majority of projects on Denver Metro, occasionally working in Larkspur, Fort Collins, Grand Lake, Boulder
Hours:
• 20-40 hours a week, part time and full time available
• General work hours from 9pm – 5pm Mon- Fri, occasional work on weekends or outside of standards hours.
Pay and Benefits:
• Pay will start as an hourly rate based on current experience, $18-$25
• Wage will quickly increase concurrent with ability
• Opportunity for piece rate and higher hourly wages once trained
• Long-term employees can move into Project Manager or Master Carpenter positions

Job Requirements:
• 2 years construction field experience
• Has own tools – must have basic tool kit
• Has reliable vehicle capable of hauling tools and valid drivers license
• Willing to work when on the clock
• Must come back to work after lunch
• Comfortable lifting +/-30 pounds
• Good customer service skills
• Can follow instructions and has strong attention to detail
• Shows up to the job site on time
• Shows up early for a job inspection
• Self-sufficient
• Flexible
• Good work ethic – wants to complete tasks
• Positive attitude (post coffee)
• Would happily bring manager energy drink
• Makes limited excuses for being late – communicates when there is a delay
• Dresses in appropriate attire with no logos or profanity on clothing
• Follows safe work environment practices, follows safety protocols (most of the time)
• Keeps personal phone time for after work hours
