We’re gearing up for another weekend at the stand, and I’ve got some delicious goodies planned for you!

🍞 Fresh Homemade Sourdough Bread

🍪 Freshly Baked Cookies

🍌🍪 Banana Pudding Cookies are BACK! Yep, these delicious little treats are making their return this weekend!

☕ Homemade Coffee Cake

🍓🫐 Mixed Berry Buckle Coffee Cake — Buttery, fruity, and topped with delicious crumble!

🫐 Now, about those blueberry muffins…

Unfortunately, my jumbo blueberry crumble muffins will be taking a little break this weekend while I’m on the hunt for a new blueberry supplier. Apparently, my regular supplier needs to get their act together! 😂

BUT… I’m considering making Mixed Berry Crumble Muffins instead! Same delicious muffins, just with a mixture of berries!

Starting next weekend, October 24 & 25, Hollyhock Farm Stand will be open Saturdays and Sundays, 9 AM until sunset, weather permitting.

We’ll be open on weekends through Christmas week. We can’t wait to see you! ❤️

So, I had some brown butter and homemade toffee, and I thought… why not make my regular chocolate chip cookie recipe using the brown butter and throw in that homemade toffee?

OH. MY. GOODNESS. 🤤

I don’t think I was prepared for what came out of my oven!

These little Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Toffee Cookies might honestly be the BEST cookies I’ve ever tasted! 😂❤️

They’re buttery, full of chocolate chips, loaded with homemade toffee, and absolutely delicious!

And to think, I wasn’t even planning on making them! Sometimes those little kitchen experiments turn into something pretty amazing. 🥰

🍂🍞 HAPPY SOURDOUGH SATURDAY FROM HOLLYHOCK FARM STAND! 🌻❤️

It’s a chilly Iowa Saturday, but the market is OPEN and we’ve got lots of goodies waiting for you! 🥶🍪

I’ll tell you what, yesterday was one of those days! 😂 I was so busy that my sourdough starter wasn’t looking its best, and I honestly wasn’t sure I was going to pull off bread this week. But guess what? I DID, and the loaves turned out BEAUTIFUL! 🙌🍞

Here’s what’s waiting for you at the stand today!

🍞 Cheddar Ranch Sourdough — No bacon this week, just delicious cheddar and ranch!

🌽🔥 Spicy Cornbread — Perfect for those who like a little kick!

My 7-year-old grandson has decided to try his hand at entrepreneurship by making origami airplanes! And let me tell you, this little guy does a great job! They’re handmade, and YES, they actually fly! 😂✈️

So if you see his airplanes at the stand, give our youngest little entrepreneur some encouragement. He’s learning what it means to create something with his own two hands, and Grandma couldn’t be prouder! ❤️

Please bear with me when I get the market set up today. My bread is still cooling so I am bagging it as soon as I can and I have cornbread in the oven plus I’m on call and if you don’t know, I work for heating and cooling company and it’s a little busy this morning so I will get there I promise.
