Throwback to a loft painting project including walls and cabinets, prior to listing. If you’re a homeowner considering putting your house on the market, a fresh coat of paint and updated colors can make a world of difference. The loft showed very well and was under contract in less than a week.

My client today wanted to freshen up her kitchen and dining room ceiling and entry way for the upcoming holidays. The process was made easier since she had left over wall paint from the build. I was able to brush ceiling paint generously where the ceiling and wall meet then go back and cut in with the original wall paint. It’s always a good idea to keep old paint cans on hand for reference.

Quick outdoor house project repairing woodpecker damage before winter steps in. Filled in the crime scene with plastic wood puddy then sanded randomly to keep wood texture relevant, primed and painted. Eventually the fresh paint will blend in with dust and weathering.

I’m super excited for this client who will be getting new carpet in a few weeks. I did the ceilings, walls, and trim in two bedrooms and two baths. I am all about the small details so I sprayed a fresh coat of paint on the vent covers. I also talked him into getting new blinds….I cannot wait to see the end results!

I spent my summers from age 10 to 23 painting barns and houses with my grandparents. I believe their longest (and heaviest) ladder stretched 40 ft. When that didn’t reach the peak, we’d usually set the ladder on top of the paint car or a hay rack. I was sent up that ladder quite a few times and quickly got over any fear of heights. Pictured is my grandfather and he was in his 70s!
