Severe Weather Alert – We’re Ready to Respond
The forecast is showing a target zone for severe weather expanding over nearly all of Iowa this Friday afternoon and evening. Morning rain is expected to clear, allowing conditions to recharge for a second round of storms later in the day. Damaging winds and hail are likely, and while the tornado threat appears stronger further south, it’s still something to watch closely here in Iowa.
When storms hit, fast response matters.

Target zone for severe weather expands over nearly all of Iowa for Friday afternoon/evening. Morning rain clears allowing for a recharge for later in the day. This second round will bring threats of wind and hail back to the state. Tornado threat looks better further south, but is still worth watching for Iowa. Exact timing is still in question, but the large scale setup is looking like its taking shape for an appreciable threat.
