This issue went on way too long.
Replaced the waste and overflow and plumbed back into the main line. Unfortunately, this was going on for quite some time causing water damage. An occasional inspection will prevent this prolonged damage.
Things will start to dry up quickly.

Approximately 25lbs of roots which invaded a sewer line.
After 3 attempts to open the line, everything is moving back downhill as normal. When the homeowners purchased the house, they didn't even think to have their sewer line inspected and most inspections will not mention this critical check. The sewer is the main artery of a home and if things are not going south its coming back to your home. This is not an issue you want after one of the best purchases many look forward to when purchasing their first home. At least now they can have a piece of mind for quite some time.

Received a service call yesterday in my hometown. As we were nearing the address I pulled into a house in which my family had lived at about 15 years ago. Took me back to memory lane for sure.
